Meet Dr. Davin Holland
My mission at Saltwater Psychology is to provide evidence-based, strengths-focused psychological assessment services for children and teens to support their overall well-being. I use a collaborative approach that focuses on combining information from the client, caregivers, school, and community providers to provide well-rounded evaluations.
My experience and training has led me to realize the complexity of different cases, the multiple influencing factors on individuals’ lives, and the importance of promoting each individual’s unique strengths to promote overall positive growth and development. I aim to provide culturally-responsive, inclusive, and affirming services.
Welcome!
My name is Davin (she/her) and I have always been drawn to working with children. I have experience working in a variety of settings including clinic, community, hospital, and schools. I believe research is integral to providing well-rounded assessments and have worked in research labs at various universities throughout my career. I also have experience teaching at the high school and collegiate level; I currently enjoy teaching as an adjunct professor at Seattle University.
I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Washington. I hold a PhD in education with a specialization in school psychology from UC Berkeley and a BS in psychology from the University of Florida. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my children, and being outdoors.
